Bingleylookedalittlesillyatthisreflection，andsaidsomethingofhisconcernathavingbeenpreventedbybusiness。Theythenwentaway。

Mrs。Bennethadbeenstronglyinclinedtoaskthemtostayanddinetherethatday;but，thoughshealwayskeptaverygoodtable，shedidnotthinkanythinglessthantwocoursescouldbegoodenoughforamanonwhomshehadsuchanxiousdesigns，orsatisfytheappetiteandprideofonewhohadtenthousandayear。
